Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to announce that French U20 international defender Alice Sombath has extended her contract for two more seasons, until June 30, 2026.
Alice Sombath joined the club in 2020 at the age of 16 from PSG and has since established herself in Sonia Bompastor’s team. At just 19 years of age, the U20 international, who had already extended her contract in November 2021, has already played 32 matches for Lyon, including 18 in the first half of the season.
Olympique Lyonnais is delighted with Alice Sombath’s contract extension, which reinforces the club’s strategy of preparing for the future by relying on promising young players and experienced players such as Wendie Renard and Amel Majri, whose contracts were recently extended until 2026.
I am very happy to continue my adventure with OL. I have already experienced some wonderful moments here and I hope to experience many more in the years to come. I am young, but I want to continue to improve, play even more games as a starter, and win as many titles as possible with this team.
