Having joined the club during the 2021 winter transfer window, the Dutch international Damaris Egurrola now plays a key role in Sonia Bompastor’s team. In two and a half years, Damaris has gained experience and built up an impressive list of achievements, winning two French championships (2022, 2023), a Women’s Champions League (2022), a Champions Trophy (2022) and a French Cup (2022) with OL.
Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to be able to continue to rely on its midfielder, who is often praised for her technical accuracy and vision of the game. This new extension follows those of her teammates Daniëlle Van de Donk (2025) and Lindsey Horan (2026). The three international players competing for the 2023 World Cup will meet on July 27 in the United States vs. Netherlands match.
