At 27 years old, Teagan Micah joins Lyon after two seasons in England with Liverpool, where she played 19 matches across all competitions and contributed to six victories. Her time in the Women’s Super League confirmed her ability to compete at the highest level.
After her university career, where she set a record of 86 appearances in four years and 36 clean sheets at UCLA, Micah played in several European and Australian leagues, notably with Arna-Bjørnar in Norway in 2020, and then with FC Rosengård in Sweden from 2021 to 2023, where she confirmed her potential on the European stage.
With Australia, Teagan Micah established herself as a key player for the Matildas. With 212 caps (26 matches), she has participated in several major tournaments, notably the 2019 World Cup in France and the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where she distinguished herself in major competitions.
More recently, she took part in the 2023 World Cup, hosted by Australia and New Zealand, where she contributed to Australia’s historic run to the semi-finals.
With this latest signing, OL Lyonnes concludes its summer transfer window and now focuses on the resumption of training scheduled for Monday, July 21, under the guidance of new coach Jonatan Giráldez. The club is delighted to welcome Teagan Micah, who joins the goalkeeping team alongside Christiane Endler and Féerine Belhadj.
