OL Lyonnes is delighted to announce the contract extension of Inès Benyahia for two more seasons. The midfielder, who had already extended her contract in May 2023, is now tied to the club until June 30, 2028.
Having returned from her loan spell at Le Havre in 2024 and after being named Revelation of the Season 2023-2024 at the Arkema Première Ligue Awards, the young player demonstrated great resilience by returning to the pitch on March 26, immediately making her mark with an assist.
With the club since 2018, Inès Benyahia has made 40 appearances for Lyon to date. At just 22 years old, she already boasts an impressive list of achievements: a Women’s Champions League title (2022), three French Championships (2022, 2023, 2025), and a Trophée des Championnes (2022).
On the eve of the Coupe de France match, Inès Benyahia reaffirms her commitment to the club with this new contract extension. OL Lyon is delighted to retain a player from its Academy, a player the club has nurtured and who fully embodies the club’s ambitions for the coming seasons.
