Another step in our outreach program with local clubs! This time, Melchie Dumornay and Maeline Mendy (who was present during this visit before her loan move) met with the young players of Caluire Women’s Football.
During this meeting, the Lyon players shared a special moment with the club’s members and volunteers. Discussions, advice, and smiles were all part of the friendly and inspiring atmosphere. It was an opportunity for the young players to learn more about the daily life of elite football, but also to envision their own sporting journeys with ambition and confidence.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to recognize the clubs most committed to supporting OL Lyon. In recognition of their involvement in the development of women’s football, these clubs benefit from exclusive privileges throughout the season, such as priority access to team matches and preferential rates. All these initiatives strengthen the link between the professional club and its regional network, while also acknowledging the daily commitment of those who work to grow women’s football in the region.
