Introducing the staff for the 2025-2026 season

Introducing the staff for the 2025-2026 season

As in previous seasons, the staff is structured around three departments: the technical staff, the performance staff, and the operational staff.

Technical Staff

Jonatan Giráldez, head of the technical staff, is joined by:

  • Jaume Rius Olcos, assistant coach. With seven years of experience at Lleida in Catalonia with the U16, U18, and U19 boys’ teams, Jaume joined the Catalan Football Federation where he taught coaching before becoming the U16 national team coach for over three years. He recently worked as a scout for Atlético de Madrid and then as an assistant coach in Ukraine.
  • Antonio Gordo Navarro, assistant coach. He has worked with Jonatan for several years: first at FC Barcelona between 2020 and 2024, and then at the Washington Spirit. A specialist in performance analysis, Antonio brings his expertise in tactical preparation and video analysis.
  • Joé Labiani, assistant coach. Joé Labiani, who joined the club in 2018, spent the last four seasons with the U15, U19, and D3 women’s teams. He will be responsible for liaising between the first team and the women’s academy and overseeing the academy’s methodology.
  • Sergi Úclés Chillón, goalkeeping coach. After 16 years at La Masia, FC Barcelona’s academy, where he coached the boys’ youth teams before becoming the U19 goalkeeping coach, Sergi has also coached goalkeepers with several teams in Spain, Saudi Arabia, and most recently, Slovenia.
  • The technical staff is completed by Marceau Goguer, head of video analysis for the past three seasons, and Clément Fessier, video analyst, who joined the staff last season.

Performance Staff

The performance staff is headed by Andrés González Gomez, Director of Performance and Innovation. A trained physical trainer with a degree in sports science, Andrés has extensive experience working with professional women’s teams. He notably worked with the Real Sociedad women’s team before joining FC Barcelona and then the Washington Spirit as Head of Performance.

Alongside him:

  • Rémi Pullara, promoted to Head of Performance. Initially a physical trainer at the academy, Rémi joined the OL Lyonnes staff in 2021, notably as Assistant Physical Trainer and in charge of rehabilitation. Rémi will be responsible for coordinating the players’ physical preparation in conjunction with the two other physical trainers: Hugo Roche, Eric Roige Pastor, and Alexane Ferrari, Assistant Physical Trainer.
  • Ana Sena, Data Scientist
  • Jad Dbouk, Team Doctor last season with Louka Bondoux. The medical staff remains unchanged and is completed with Anthony Martin as head of physiotherapy and two additional physiotherapists: Ganaëlle Rigondaud and Shingo Kitada.
  • Ana Martinez, nutritionist

Operational Staff

The operational staff is still led by Julien Legrand, in conjunction with the team manager, David Morreale. They are completed by the Kit Managers: Amilcar Perez and Julien Pinsard.

Women’s Academy

For the 2025/2026 season, Rachel Saïdi has been appointed director of the women’s training center. A former player and then coach of the LOSC women’s team, she joins OL Lyonnes with extensive experience in coaching, pedagogy, and a deep understanding of the specificities of women’s football.

OL Lyonnes is delighted with the formation of this new staff, composed of 23 people dedicated to supporting the players on a daily basis and helping them perform at their best on the pitch. The formation of this staff is part of the club’s ongoing high-level project, with the ambition of further strengthening the professional structure around the first team and its training center.
