Sought after by several European clubs and touted as a promising player, Melchie Dumornay trained at AS Tigresses (Haïti). She signed her first professional contract in 2021 with Stade de Reims (D1 Arkema) and has since played 28 matches and scored 15 goals in all competitions.
Born in 2003, the midfielder played for her country’s youth teams before making her senior debut at just 17 years. Over the years, the Haitian international has distinguished herself by winning the CONCACAF 2022 Young Player of the Year award, before being named in the starting eleven alongside Vanessa Gilles.
