Dominant from the opening minutes, OL Lyonnes were quickly rewarded. In the 9th minute, Inès Benyahia delivered a perfect pass to Jule Brand, who opened the scoring with a composed finish. (9′, 1-0)
This match was also marked by the first starts of Romane Rafalski and Charline Coutel, both named in the starting lineup and quickly contributing to the team’s strong collective rhythm.
The Lyonnes maintained their pressure and deservedly doubled their lead in the 29th minute. From a precise cross by Jule Brand, Marie-Antoinette Katoto rose high to power home a commanding header. (29’’ 2-0)

Disciplined and efficient, the Lyonnes managed the second half perfectly.
Attention now turns to the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Arsenal, this Sunday in London. The return leg will take place on May 2 at 3:00 p.m. at the Groupama Stadium.
