During the very first edition of the LFFP (Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel) awards ceremony in its history, OL Lyonnes stood out as the only club to win gold in all four categories.
Launched during the 2025–2026 season, these labels were created by the LFFP to support and promote the growth of professional women’s football clubs. As well as recognising the initiatives put in place, this scheme also aims to encourage discussion amongst clubs about the practices that have enabled them to achieve these accolades. They are based on four key areas: training, visibility, attendance and community engagement.
Four labels, two levels of recognition:
Thanks to its extensive network of local clubs and a wide range of collaborative initiatives, OL Lyonnes has been awarded the “Engagement and Regions” label. The Lyon-based team and the Academy squads operate within a comprehensive sporting environment. This has enabled the club to receive the “Sport and Training Policy” label. The growing communities across the various networks are testament to the success of the initiatives put in place. In this regard, the club has also been awarded Gold for the “Promotion and Development” label. On the topic of “Fan Experience”, Adeline Houzet (Head of Revenue at OL Lyonnes) outlined the strategy during the ceremony. The club makes it a point of honour to turn matches into genuine experiences for supporters. To this end, the club organises numerous activities and prioritises the connection between the players and supporters. This four-fold accolade is a testament to the daily work carried out by the entire club. OL Lyonnes reaffirms its commitment to continuing the development of women’s football, both on and off the pitch.
