OL Lyonnes hosted Fleury with the aim of continuing their positive momentum and asserting their dominance at home. Serious and focused from the outset, the Lyonnes quickly imposed their rhythm against a determined Parisian side, in a hard-fought and fast-paced match from the opening minutes.
In the 11th minute, Teagan Micah delivered a masterclass on her line. Called into action by a low, angled shot from Cance, the Australian goalkeeper initially parried the danger with a reflex save, tipping the ball away with her toe. As the ball rebounded instantly to the feet of her opponents, she then recovered and made a second, consecutive save, preventing the Essonne team from opening the scoring early.
In the 32nd minute, Melchie Dumornay turned the game around. With a sharp run down the wing, the Haitian international delivered a pinpoint cross to Marie-Antoinette Katoto in the heart of the penalty area.
