Through this new alliance, Orange confirms its commitment to supporting and promoting the development of women’s football and to supporting players in their sporting and personal journeys.
As a partner closely involved in the sports and digital ecosystem, Orange already has individual connections with several iconic figures of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, including Wendie Renard, Eugénie Le Sommer, and Amel Majri. This partnership is part of a broader initiative to support the growth of women’s sport in France and to strengthen the values of diversity and inclusion within society.
A major partner of the French Football Federation (FFF), Orange has been working with the world of professional and amateur sport for over 20 years to promote equal opportunities and gender equality in sport. Deeply committed to supporting the French women’s national team, Orange is working to dispel prejudices surrounding women’s football. Through this partnership, Orange and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin share a common goal: to elevate women’s football to a higher level, based on the values of integrity, solidarity, and respect. By initiating concrete actions against cyberbullying and for digital literacy, Orange is leveraging its expertise to support the players, their communities, and partner clubs, both professional and amateur, local and international.
“I am delighted that Orange, already deeply committed to supporting women’s football, is becoming an official partner of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin. This partnership symbolizes our commitment to a more inclusive sport. It reflects our dedication to major societal issues such as equality, digital education, and the fight against cyberbullying. It will also be an opportunity to raise awareness among the players, their fans, and partner clubs about important societal issues to make the digital and sporting worlds safer”, explains Laetitia Orsini-Sharps, Director of Consumer Products.
“At OL Féminin, we firmly believe in the power of sport to inspire and transform lives. This partnership with Orange is much more than a commitment to women’s football—it’s a promise to support young players on their journey, to empower them to thrive, and to build an environment where they feel safe, both online and on the pitch.” “Together, we have a unique opportunity to promote inclusion, resilience and to nurture the next generation of leaders, on the football pitch and beyond“, said Michele Kang, owner of OL Féminin.
