The young striker then struck again, this time in combination with Melchie Dumornay, to score her second goal and extend the lead (1-6, 79′). Riding her momentum, Liana Joseph didn’t stop there. Three minutes later, she completed her hat trick with a superb half-volley, sealing Lyon’s seventh goal (1-7, 82′).
At the end of regulation time, Melchie Dumornay capitalized on a poor clearance by the Lens defense, slotting a precise shot into the bottom left corner. OL Lyonnes capped off their performance with an eighth goal and a resounding victory (1-8, 89′).
With this comfortable win, the team confirmed their excellent start to the season.
