In the 74th minute, Lyon struck again. Perfectly set up by Inès Benyahia, Liana Joseph controlled the ball before slotting it home from close range to score the fifth goal (1-5, 74′). The young striker then struck again, this time in combination with Melchie Dumornay, to score her second goal and extend the lead (1-6, 79′). Riding her momentum, Liana Joseph didn’t stop there. Three minutes later, she completed her hat trick with a superb half-volley, sealing Lyon’s seventh goal (1-7, 82′).

At the end of regulation time, Melchie Dumornay capitalized on a poor clearance by the Lens defense, slotting a precise shot into the bottom left corner. OL Lyonnes capped off their performance with an eighth goal and a resounding victory (1-8, 89′).

With this comfortable win, the team confirmed their excellent start to the season. Solid, efficient, and driven by a confident attack, the Lyon players once again demonstrated their collective and individual strength. This result reinforces their status as title contenders and allows them to approach the UEFA Women’s Champions League with confidence and the desire to succeed.
