A true prospect for Lyon’s youth academy since her early years, the left-back has blossomed in recent seasons, becoming a world-class player in her position. A four-time Women’s Champions League winner with the club (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022), Selma Bacha has played a total of 52 matches in the competition. She has distinguished herself with her technical skills and impressive statistics, earning the titles of Best Young Player and Top Assister of the season in the last edition, which Lyon won in 2022.
On the domestic stage, the defender has won six French Championships (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024), three French Cups (2019, 2020, 2023), and three Trophée des Championnes (2019, 2022, 2023).
At 24, the French international (38 caps) chose the Lyon project for the next stage of her professional career, aiming to further cement her place in the club’s history. OL Féminin is delighted to have secured the services of the left-back and will support Selma Bacha in her development so that she can achieve all the collective and individual goals she has set for herself.
