Wendie Renard, a woman of all records. The one who has already worn the Lyon jersey 476 times and scored no less than 151 goals, enters even more into the club’s history by becoming the person, male or female, who has worn the captain’s armband the most.
Arriving in 2006 at the age of 16, Wendie Renard quickly established herself within the Lyon team and went on to become the club’s most iconic player. She, who has already won everything in Lyon, namely all 37 titles in the history of OL Féminin, played her 300th match as captain on Sunday, May 12, surpassing the former record holder, Fleury Di Nallo.
