Johanna Rytting Kaneryd

In 2022, Johanna left Sweden to join the English club Chelsea, where she quickly established herself in the London squad. A versatile player able to perform in both offensive and defensive roles, she played 139 matches for the Blues, scoring 17 goals and building an impressive record: three English championships (2023, 2024, and 2025), two FA Cups (2023 and 2025), and two League Cups (2025 and 2026). After progressing through all the youth categories, Johanna was called up to the Sweden senior team in 2021. Since then, she has earned 70 caps and played a key role in her team’s run during the 2023 World Cup. Also recognized for her individual performances, she won the 2024 Diamantbollen, awarded to the best Swedish female player of the year, and ranked 23rd in the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
