2 INDIV' TITLES
The 2025/2026 season was a resounding success for Melchie Dumornay, who was voted Player of the Season. Both the UNFP and the LFFP awarded this title to the Lyonnes player within a week of each other, before she was once again voted Player of the Month for May at the end of the French league season. She finished the season with nine goals and seven assists in 17 Arkema Première Ligue matches. Having also scored a goal in each of the national cup competitions, notably in the Coupe de France final, Corventina enjoyed a complete season.
15 GOALS
A real asset to Jonatan Giráldez, the Lyonnes player has been a key figure at the heart of the team and one of its driving forces. With 15 goals scored in 33 matches played throughout the season, she has shown impressive consistency. Melchie Dumornay has notably extended her contract until 2030, a sign of the mutual trust between the player and the club.
2 TEAMS OF THE YEAR
Thanks to her consistently outstanding performances in the Arkema Première Ligue, Melchie Dumornay has been selected for the 2025/2026 Team of the Season alongside her team-mates. Across Europe, the Lyonnes player has distinguished herself by proving decisive on six occasions, with five goals and one assist. She scored a brace against Arsenal on the opening day of the group stage and netted the goal that secured her team’s extra-time victory over Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals. The midfielder played ten matches during this European campaign and had a significant impact on numerous fixtures, notably thanks to her physical presence and her ability to drive her team forward.
2 CONCACAF TITLES
At international level, the midfielder is captain of the Haïti national team, a role she embodies perfectly despite her young age. In 2025, she was named CONCACAF Player of the Year for the second time (2024, 2025), an honour directly linked to her club performances and her role within the national team.
