As part of its outreach program with local clubs, Kadidiatou Diani and Ines Benyahia met with young players from the Ain Sud club. This meeting was marked by a spirit of mentorship, inspiration, and commitment to the development of women’s football. With over 400 partner clubs spread across a wide area (Rhône, Ain, Isère, Savoie, Puy-de-Dôme, Saône-et-Loire, Jura, and even neighboring Switzerland), the network of women’s clubs established by OL Lyonnes is a powerful force in promoting the sport and supporting young people in their participation.
During this visit, our players had the opportunity to interact with the club’s members and coaches, share their experiences, and inspire future generations. For the participants, this special moment was a unique chance to experience top-level football firsthand while envisioning their own sporting futures.
Through these local initiatives, OL Lyonnes reaffirms its commitment to inspiring the next generation and strengthening ties with local clubs. The objective is clear: to encourage involvement, create more opportunities for young talent, and grow women’s football in close collaboration with those who shape it every day. This visit to the Ain Sud club perfectly illustrates the ambition of the project to build together an even stronger, more accessible, and resolutely forward-looking women’s football system.
