Following the success of its inaugural event in 2025, which focused on endometriosis, OL Lyonnes continues its commitment to women’s health with a new conference dedicated to pregnancy and sport. True to its pioneering spirit, the club continues to foster dialogue on topics related to women’s sport, essential for female athletes—and more broadly, for all women.
Because pregnancy is a unique adventure and sport can play a vital role, the “Pregnancy & Sport” conference invites the public to an evening of supportive discussion, open to everyone, regardless of their level of athletic experience.
The goal of this conference is to share clear information, inspiring stories, and practical advice to support every woman in her relationship with sport before, during, and after pregnancy.

From 6:30 p.m. – Groupama Stadium
Open to everyone: athletes, expectant mothers, healthcare professionals, students, and the general public
A program designed to inform and alleviate guilt
Between expert advice and personal experiences, this roundtable discussion on pregnancy and sport aims to be an inspiring and positive event, reminding us that motherhood and sports are not mutually exclusive—on the contrary, they can be mutually beneficial.
Around these two universal themes, Professor Gil Dubernard, Head of the Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Neonatology Department at Croix-Rousse Hospital, along with doctors, physiotherapists, and physical trainers from OL Lyonnes, will openly discuss the links between motherhood and physical activity. They will address a variety of topics such as:
To enrich these discussions, renowned athletes will also share their personal experiences and feelings. They will all share their journeys and how they have managed to balance sports and motherhood.
A Moment of Listening and Sharing Open to Everyone
This conference aims above all to create a supportive space for discussion, where guests can freely ask questions, discover tailored advice, and leave with practical guidance. The discussions will also address prejudices and misconceptions surrounding motherhood in sports, encouraging open and inclusive dialogue.
