Biography

Originally from Val-de-Marne, Alice Sombath began her training at Paris FC and then Paris Saint-Germain before joining OL Lyonnes in 2020. At just 16 years old, she signed her first professional contract and was gradually integrated into the Lyon squad.

After an initial season of adaptation, she made her debut in the Arkema Première Ligue against Reims and experienced the Women’s Champions League a few weeks later against Benfica (5-0). A promising defender, known for her discipline and game intelligence, she extended her contract with OL Lyonnes in January 2023 for two more seasons.

Alice earned her first call-up to the French national team in November 2024. In June 2025, she was included in the 23-player squad selected to compete in the European Championship in Switzerland.

I have already experienced some wonderful emotions here and I hope to experience many more in the years to come.
