With a wealth of experience on the French and European stage, Ashley Lawrence will bolster the Lyon team in 2025, bringing her athletic profile and ability to play equally well on the right or left side of the defense.

At 30 years old, Ashley Lawrence boasts an impressive track record. After two seasons with Chelsea, the Canadian full-back won two Women’s Super League titles (2024, 2025), as well as an FA Cup (2025) and an English League Cup (2025).

Prior to her time in London, Ashley Lawrence made her mark in the French league, where she played for six seasons. In France, she won a French league title (2021) and two French Cups (2018, 2022) with PSG.

The Toronto native is also a key player for the Canadian national team. Selected with the A team for the first time in 2013 at the age of 17, Ashley Lawrence has since won a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 before becoming an Olympic champion in Tokyo in 2021.

The goal is to win titles. I know it starts with the team and all the players are involved.
