Biography

French international striker Liana Joseph is one of the brightest prospects to have come through the ranks at Olympique Lyonnais. She signed her first professional contract with the club in 2023. Fast and powerful, Joseph made her D1 Arkema debut at 17.

After initially signing a contract until 2026, it was extended in October 2024 until 2027. In January 2025, she was loaned to RC Strasbourg Alsace for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season to gain experience before returning to Lyon.

Her club achievements include a French league title (2024) and a French U19 championship (2023). She is a prolific goalscorer for the youth national teams, notably winning the U17 European Championship in 2023, where she scored twice in the final, and reaching the final of the U19 European Championship in 2025.

I hope that I will have succeeded in making my place in an ambitious club like OL Lyonnes and in performing well at the weekend in the league, and during the week in the Champions League.
