Biography

Initially arriving on loan from Portland in January 2022, the American player made the move permanent to Lyon in 2023. Born Horan, Lindsey was developed at the Colorado Rush before joining PSG for her first European experience.

Embodying leadership and technical quality in midfield, Lindsey Heaps confirmed her status during the 2024-2025 season, which saw her ranked 5th in the Ballon d’Or and named to the FIFA The Best XI.

In just four years with Lyon, Lindsey Horan has already won four national titles as well as the 2022 Women’s Champions League. The American captain also won the 2019 World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games.
