Biography

OL Lyonnes announced in June 2025 the signing of the first professional contract for young midfielder Maïssa Fathallah, at just 16 years old.

Originally from Vitry-sur-Seine and trained at AAS Fresnes, Maïssa joined the INF Clairefontaine academy in 2022. Thanks to her performances, she became the only INF player to play with a boys’ team. After two impressive seasons, she joined the OL Lyonnes academy in 2024.

Maïssa stands out in particular for her versatility, capable of playing both as a midfielder and a center-back. In 2025, the French international participated in the U17 European Championship and the U17 World Cup.

I found my happiness in Lyon. I can say that Lyon is my home now.
