Biography

Arriving in Lyon in 2023 from Stade de Reims, the young player quickly established herself as a true attacking asset to the Lyon squad. Melchie Dumornay is a key player for Lyon and has already received numerous individual accolades.

She was named CONCACAF Women’s Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025 and Best Young Player in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2024. She was also nominated among the top 30 players in the world for the 2025 Ballon d’Or for her performances at both club and international level.

Distinguished by her physical and technical qualities, the Haitian talent has extended her contract with OL Lyon until 2030.
