After joining in the 2025–2026 season, Jonatan Giráldez quickly established his playing style with OL Lyonnes and achieved excellent results right from the start of the season. The team, led by the Spanish tactician, remained undefeated in the three national competitions it won. In fact, Lyonnes and their coach claimed the following titles this year: their 19th Arkema Première Ligue title, the Coupe de France, and the first-ever LFFP Cup. This domestic treble was made possible by the quality of a roster elevated by the tactics of a talented coach.
