The Norwegian striker arrived in 2014 at the age of 19. She quickly became a legend with OL Lyon, and will forever be remembered as the first-ever women’s Ballon d’Or winner in 2018.

For the past ten years, Ada Hegerberg has been playing and shining alongside her Lyon teammates on both the national and European stage. A six-time winner of the Women’s Champions League, the Nordic striker is also the competition’s all-time leading scorer.

The Norwegian international, who has won 10 French league titles, 6 French Cups, and 3 Champions Trophies with OL, has also garnered other prestigious awards, including UEFA Women’s Player of the Year and Ligue 1 Player of the Year in 2016.

I remember my arrival at OL very well; it was a magical summer. I had the innocence of a young girl, and you can see that I had stars in my eyes, but I already had ambition. I felt at home from day one.
